A few of our guest’s experience:

On June 8th, I had the opportunity to attend a virtual Boot Camp on AI Literacy. The workshop focused on the benefits of AI in Education, Arts, Coding, and other emerging technologies.

AI is here to stay, and the more we learn about it, the more we can find ways it can help us create a better world without impacting our reasoning and empathy.

Thank you to Dr. Martha Trevino, Alamo Colleges District, HACU, The AI Mark Cuban Foundation, Diana Pacheco, PhD, Guillermo Diaz Jr., and José Morey for educating students on AI through Conectado Inc.

I had an incredible experience at the Immersive AI Literacy Bootcamp, presented in collaboration with Conectado Inc, the Mark Cuban Foundation, and the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU)! 🚀

The day was filled with engaging lessons, insightful discussions, and lots of networking. 🤝

Dr. José Morey, an AI expert and former consultant for NASA, IBM, and the White House, led us through the fundamentals, ethics, and practical uses of AI in various fields, making complex concepts easy to grasp. 🧠✨

Big thanks to Dr. José Morey, Oszie Tarula, the amazing hosts, my new connections, the moderators, HACU, the Mark Cuban Foundation, and Conectado founder – Guillermo Diaz Jr, and everyone involved for such a memorable experience. I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned and keep exploring the world of AI! 🌟

One of the best programs I’ve attended so far was Conectado’s AI Literacy Bootcamp.

A day jam-packed with engaged learning, curious note-taking, and networking.

I was fortunate enough to have my questions answered by a true AI expert Dr. José Morey. Not only a former consultant for NASA, IBM, the White House Office of Science & Technology, and current radiologist, Dr. Morey is simply great at teaching.

In addition to learning AI fundamentals, Dr. Morey and Oszie Tarula also introduced to us students a couple of amazing, emerging software tools — Midjourney (a new AI art generator) and the highlight of the show:

the Conectadoverse.
“The FIRST metaverse environment with an integrated Large Language Model.” – education reimagined
(the ideal version of Adult Swim’s ‘For-Profit Online University’ parody 😁 .)

Overall, many thanks to everyone involved including the hosts, my new connections, the moderators, the partners HACU and the Mark Cuban Foundation, as well as Conectado founder Guillermo Diaz Jr for creating this memory for me.
